From time to time everyone can have those moments when there is a need to for greater inspiration about what we are putting our energy into. This doesn’t necessarily mean the enjoyment is completely gone, although in some cases this may be the case and it’s just a matter of getting something done so you can strike it off a to do list. More often than not though, it’s more a matter of noticing you are feeling a bit meh about doing something that you know normally you would take on with much enthusiasm and excitement. You try and shake this off by focusing on the positive that exists in the situation, yet you still find yourself dreading the very thought of having to do it.
I love all types of music (well, maybe not country!), and I have certain playlists I’ll listen to depending on what I’m doing. While these can really kickstart me into feeling like there’s nothing I cannot do in this world, there is the odd time it’s simply not enough.
It’s during these times I look towards the people I admire who have accomplished great things in life, pulling my inspiration from their actions, words and successes.
Some of these people I turn to aren’t necessarily famous and their names may not be well known in the public eye. I’ve crossed paths with people at work as well as people living in my neighborhood who seemingly live quiet lives yet each and every one of them inspire me by how they live their life and what they stand for.
The best stories are the ones that are yet to be told
I’ve put together my top ten list of inspirational quotes and one video clip that have helped me at certain times in my life over the years and I know some, if not all, can do the same for you.
No one can deny the power of a good quote that motivates and inspires you to be your best!

I’ll end with a 5 minute video of Derek Redmond, who is helped by his Dad to cross the finish line at the 1992 Olympics after tearing his hamstring and realizing he would not reach his dream that day.
It brings me to tears reminding me that with hard work, sweat and determination, there are no limits to what each of us can do in life.
