Over 100 countries will be offering events and activities to commemorate this important event and you can view the events calendar to find out the details of what venues in your area will be offering educational and interactive sessions that you may want to attend.
Unable to find any events in your area?
Not to worry as you can find a wealth of educational and fun activities for all ages on the Brain Awareness Week website and it also includes many interesting articles some of which include:
– Zika and the brain
– The future of Huntington’s Disease treatment
– A study of motivation
– Multiple Sclerosis (MS) – what we know and what we need to learn
Last year I wrote a blog on Brain Awareness Week where I highlighted a sample of some of the great resources that are available on the website and you can read more on them here.
It’s my hope that you will spend a few moments this week to familiarize yourself with some of the material that is out there and sign up for an activity or event in your city.
